Dallas Treatment Center

Welcome to Reflections Lifestyle Center in Dallas

“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step.”
– Naeem Callaway

Over 3.3 million adults in Texas have a mental health condition. Texas’s overdose death rates are more than double the national average. There’s a need for recovery options here in Texas, and Dallas is no exception.

Substance use and mental health conditions are not exclusive to any age group. Whether you’re seeking options for your teenager, doing research for your spouse, or wanting to know what options you have for yourself, you’re in the right place. Our team here at Reflections Lifestyle Center offers an evidence-based approach that’s dedicated to helping you find healing.

What We Treat: Teen and Adult Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders

There’s not one age group or demographic that is guaranteed to experience a substance use or mental health disorder. Teens and adults from all walks of life are susceptible.

When these conditions get to the point where they’re impacting someone’s well-being and ability to function on a day-to-day basis, this is when intervention and care are important. Many people dealing with these conditions regularly may not see a way out, or think it’s their own fault that they got there – but that’s not true. In reality, these conditions are complex and blame can’t be assigned to any singular thing. Healing is possible, and everyone is worthy of it.

Understanding Co-Occurring Disorders

When someone has a substance use disorder and a mental health condition at the same time, this is known as a co-occurring disorder. Co-occurring disorders often feed into each other, making for a vicious cycle. For example, someone with untreated depression may seek out cocaine or opioids in order to feel better. In return, cocaine and opioids can worsen their depression, making them continue to seek substances to try and combat the side effects.

This is just one instance of how co-occurring disorders can present themselves. Multiple conditions and combinations of substance use disorders and mental health conditions are possible. There’s no one combination that’s more common than others, but the combination itself is more common than many may realize.

Our Program Options at Reflections Lifestyle Center Dallas

Here at Reflections Lifestyle Center, we recognize that the variety of conditions that can lead to the need for support for mental health or healing from substance use requires a similarly versatile approach.

We work with our clients in a collaborative approach, crafting a treatment plan that’s uniquely suited to their concerns and healing desires. Our programs are backed by research and evidence, and we don’t take a singular approach to healing. Our offerings aren’t rigid because we know that the concept of “one-size-fits-all” isn’t realistic. Every client is unique, and their treatment plans should be, too. We’ll approach your healing plan with your needs in mind and adjust it as time goes on as needed.

PHP for Teens and Adults

We offer both a partial hospitalization program for teens and adults. This program lays the foundation for recovery without taking you away from your life and responsibilities. Through a PHP, clients stay in the comfort of their homes overnight but come in daily for treatment and care. The specific hours and frequency vary based on need and can adjust throughout treatment.

Our teens and adults aren’t just lumped into a group together, however, even if the treatment offers similar services to each. Teens will have a stronger focus on school and future planning, including discussions of social groups, stress, expectation management, and more. Adults’ focus will look into their careers, current relationships, finances, and other things depending on each person’s needs.

Parents will be looped into the recovery plan and may engage in treatment options and planning. We recognize that when it comes to substance use and mental health, loved ones are impacted, too, not just the individual who’s managing the conditions.
